Bodegas Axial is located in Cariñena, at Sierra de Algairén, which is very much like the garden of Eden for Spanish grape vines. It was here Carignan and Garnacha came into existence. Thankfully, there was no corruption, no snakes and certainly no apples for the region is far more focused on delicious grapes.
Today, the region remains a paradise for grapes, something that is discernible when sipping on La Granja Rosado Joven Rosé, displaying a remarkable floral and fruity bouquet with notes of strawberry, crisp red cherry and blackcurrant leaf.
Bodegas Axial is located in Cariñena, at Sierra de Algairén, the world's cradle and birth place of Garnacha grape. Axial Vinos is a successful independent producer of distinctive Garnacha wines with maximum respect for the grape character. Every single wine has its own personality and mirrors the terroir and the spirit of local community.
The grapes are manually harvested, pressed and chilled to 12ºC before being fermented in stainless steel tanks at 18ºC. Once the wine has been fined and has undergone the cold stabilisation at -5ºC and the final micro filtration, the wine is bottled.
