This wine is Oddbins contribution to Joseph Campbell's Monomyth theory. The idea that across the world, all great stories are being retold in every language and in every culture.
On a trip to South Africa our buyers, lost and thirsty, found a mystic on the side of the road. She told them what they seek can be found at the foothills of a magnificent mountain range. After days of searching, they stumbled upon a 600-acre vineyard. Weary, they asked for a glass of wine and after tasting one of the finest Viogniers ever to touch their lips, they realised they had been rejuvenated. They had found the fountain of youth! Not really, but they did stumble on this wonderfully balanced Viognier, maybe myths are real!
