The wine has a brilliant clarity and pale straw colour. Aromas of pear, white pepper, celery with hints of melon are evident and the palate is dry and spicy with a lingering finish of radish and golden delicious, underpinned with a lovely crunchy refreshing acidity.
Longview Vineyard has over the last decade become one of the most awarded wine producers in the Adelaide Hills. This family owned vineyard set on undulating slopes has a climate well suited to growing both red and white wines to a high standard.
The Shiraz, Cabernet and Nebbiolo sit north facing to get the most sunlight, while the Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc thrive in the shelter. Longview is establishing itself as a dynamic producer that will be around for decades to come.
