Marrenon Roséfine Méditerranée IGP Rosé 2019 - Magnum

There are a few pet peeves that all wine people share; overly filled glasses in restaurants, reds served too warm, whites served too cold and of course friends asking you to blind taste a wine, then serving you washing up liquid, gits!
The worst, however, is arriving to a party with a delicious bottle of wine, presenting it to your guest, who promptly stores it in their wine cellar and proceeds to serve you the jug wine they made in their basement, more gits!

That's why we love this Roséfine rosé magnum, a deliciously fresh wine with notes of redcurrants, pink grapefruit and white flowers, that is best drunk young and in a volume that screams; “this is to share with everyone!”
Since 1965 Marreon Lubreon & Ventoux has united 650 wine growers across the Rhone and Provence into co-operatives. Working across 4200 hectares of vineyards in the Regional Natural Park, recognised by UNESCO as a natural biosphere reserve, Marreon are focused on developing premium wines with a true sense of place and a respect for environment.

The Rosefine wines are made from grapes selected from Luberon and Ventoux at an altitude between 300 and 500m. The production of the wines focuses on bringing out their aromatic intensity and freshness on top of consistently appealing bodies. Grapes are harvested at night to preserve the wines aromatics and freshness.

The nose is elegant with flavours of citrus and floral notes. In the mouth, the style is very lush and pleasant with a long and delicate finish on the palate. Freshness and delicacy are the key words for this Cuvée.
