After all Martin, you’re fully insured, probably a responsible driver and we can’t be bothered to leave the sofa. All we ask is that you pick up another bottle of this Aussie Chardonnay. With a rich, fruit forward palate presenting flavours of peach, apricot and honeydew melon, and a creamy texture balanced by fresh acidity, you might well feel like filling up the back of your pick up with a few cases!
Produced by Adelaide Wine Estates, head winemaker Heather Frazer focuses on minimal intervention practices both in the vineyard and in the winery to deliver the truest expression of the varietal; a Chardonnay with depth, complexity and personality.
The Chardonnay grapes are grown on a range of red sandy soils over limestone. Carefully controlled irrigation of these individual sites promotes well-balanced canopies so that the fruit ripens in dappled light allowing optimal fruit flavour to develop.
