It's after dinner, the table is laden with bowls of plums, cherries and raspberries, and a steaming cafetiere of Kenyan coffee is giving off aromas that are teasing your nose. Sava land was born in 2008 in order to protect an ancient tradition that wants the area around Sava at the centre of high quality wine production, with particular reference to the Primitivo. At the origin of the project, the desire to valorize a precious historic heritage of vineyards at a time when the number of winegrowers in this area of Salento was minimised. Faced with this urgency, a group of enthusiasts and professionals in the industry concentrated their efforts to seize the best from that set of climate, soil, grape and handmade factors that make Sava an unrepeatable land in the world wine-vinegar atlas. A journey started to get far, bringing the nectar of this earth around the world.
