Take a long sensuous walk through an orchard, a flower garden and a perfumery and you will experience just what it is like to dip your nose into the swirling aromas coming off this wine. This Viognier is drunk with heady fragrance and laden with ripe stone-fruit flavour.
It will have you reeling with the sheer indulgence of it all. Resistance is futile. Thought is superfluous. Just sit yourself down in the sun with a glass of this opulent white and engage with all of your senses.
Grapes were harvested from 5 year old vines on alluvial and sandy soil. In March, the grapes were hand picked and taken to the winery where further manual selection of the best grapes took place. The must was then fermented for 22 days under strict temperature control in stainless steel tanks. The wine was aged 6 months in tank and then for a further 4 in the bottle before release.
