Here is a company founded in 2010 by Luca Pomaro and Alessandro Michelon. On one side a person with a great market awareness and on the other hand a person with a profound knowledge of winemaking. Making the perfect pair to produce interesting, intriguing and innovative wines.
They want to bring innovation to the wine market and produce the best and most interesting wines possible at fair prices. To do so they take full control of every step in the winemaking, from the vineyards to the vinification, straight through to the packaging and marketing. To make this possible, they have tied strong commercial relations with a small number of growers and wineries in different areas of Italy. They take complete control of the vineyards and work closely with our partners and their own winemakers to create wines which represent the essence and typicity of that particular region, while still keeping an eye on the needs of the ever-evolving international wine aficionado.
Alessandro Michelon is a native of Italy, growing up in Trentino, Northern Italy. Alessandro’s love of winemaking developed in his younger age helping his family in their own vineyards of Valle di Cembra.
His passion for the vineyards and the winemaking was so strong that he decided to attend the “Istituto Agrario di San Michele”, the most well-known and recognized oenological school for Italian winemakers where he got his graduation in 1998.
Alessandro had various experiences in Trentino Wineries and in 2000 he joined one of the biggest Italian wine companies focused on export markets. During these years, he acquired his profound knowledge of the various wine producing regions of Italy and the international taste of the wine consumers around the world. At the end of 2009 he left the company as chief winemaker and founded together with one other wine enthusiast the company that brings you this fantastic wine. Alessandro and his partners are committed to produce intriguing, innovative, high quality wines at fair/competitive prices for the international markets.
Their process:
HARVEST
Our grapes are hand-picked in the first week of September.
VINIFICATION
The Pecorino grapes are de-stemmed and softly crushed. The must is then chilled to 12°C and left to rest for approximately 18 hours. The juice is then placed in stainless steel tanks for fermentation, which is carried out using selected yeasts at a controlled temperature of 18°C. The wine is left to rest in stainless tanks for 6 months and is further aged for 6 months in bottle before release. Straw-yellow colour with some green hints. A refreshing, crisp white wine with sweet ripe fruit of peach and mango with warm spices and minerals. On the palate it has a rounded flavour, a creamy texture with peaches and an intense, clean finish.
