Established by the eighteen year old Pol Roger in 1849, today the champagne house remains proudly independent, owned and run by his descendants. It is one of the smallest of the Champagne houses, but despite this it has established its name and now produces some of the best Champagnes on the market. Pol Roger's top cuvée is named after Sir Winston Churchill and was created in 1975. Even in the 21st century, the champgane house has maintained links with the British establishment. Pol Roger NV was the official Champagne of the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton in 2011. Their range includes a style and taste for most budgets. It includes Pure Brut, Brut Reserve as well as other vintage Champagnes.
