Bourgogne Aligote is a white wine from the well known Burgundy region in France. The grapes are mechanically harvested before being pressed and cooled prior to a month of fermentation before racking in stainless steel to retain the fresh fruit flavours.
The result is a crisp, citrus wine with mouth filling lemon, with a light amount of acidity. This fruity wine is best enjoyed when paired with food.
Stephane Aviron and Nicolas Potel established the business in 2000, sourcing parcels of old vines and handling the fruit and vinification in barrel to make Beaujolais in the style that made it famous.
