Australia, the land of a thousand flavours, has proven time and time again that their blockbuster wines share quality and diversity in abundance, and this case of mixed wine is no different. Unbeknown to some, South Australia produces the majority of the nation’s wine, which is responsible for almost 50% of Australia’s annual production.
The State also boasts some of the oldest vines in the world, and is home to a multitude of different soil types. There are also other local mitigating influences, such as altitude and cooling ocean breezes that allow for a vast array of different wine styles and qualities. This unique case of mixed wine encompasses all of the diversity and complexity that South Australian wines have to offer.
