How can something be 'Extra Dry?' we hear you ask. After all, you don't jump out the shower and towel yourself down past the point of dryness, as wisps of smoke begin to rise from your hair and comment “today, I’m Extra Dry.”
Well, dryness is actually a legally defined measure of sweetness in wine, and in relation to Prosecco, Extra-dry has up to 20g per litre less residual sugar than Proseccos labelled Dry. Prosecco Trevisana Extra Dry is textural and light with a fine perlage. The palate is fresh with flavours of green apple, lemon, yellow pear and blossom, an approachable dryness makes this wine ideal for a garden aperitif or a little post-shower treat.
