Sometimes only the original will do. Nobody's giving you £85 million for a print of 'The Scream' and not many people ran out to buy Susan Boyle's 2009 cover of 'Wild Horses.' In the same way, there are some occasions when only classic wines will do; with a snooty brother-in-law in a 1920s cigar lounge or perhaps dinner at the palace. This wine will be perfect for either of those unlikely scenarios. Châteauneuf-du-Pape is in fact, the first ever French wine region to be awarded an appellation d'origine controlee, the dark fruit, complex herbal and spiced notes of this wine express history and quality. Here's to the classics, don't ever change!

Remy Febras is a brand owned by Les Grandes Serres, a small négoçiant specialising in Southern Rhone wines. The winery Grandes Serres is deeply rooted in the heart of Chateauneuf-du-Pape since its creation in 1977. When combining their own vineyards, leased lands and direct purchases of grapes, they utilise, altogether the equivalent of 12 ha of vineyards. The Maison Grandes Serres is one of the key players of the appellation Chateauneuf-du-Pape. Their different cuvées of this appellation, including the flagship “La Cour des Papes” which is made with the grapes coming from 15 winegrowers they have selected. The result of the great care they bring to the winemaking, to the grapes selection and to the aging is that they have become a benchmark of this appellation; internationally recognized for the elegance, the structure and the complexity of its wines.
