Like a lot of things, wine is usually decribed and related to stories from the past. But what about the future? What will we be drinking in a hundred years time? Will astronauts be able to enjoy the freshness and elegant flavours of this wine from Reiully, France? Would the technocrats that build the cities on Mars stop to ruminate on this wine's lime , grapefruit and acacia nuiances? Certainly the gardeners in the hydrodomes should stop, at the end of the day, to cool down with a glass of this Sauvignon Blanc. Perhaps they will share it together with the other denizens of tomorrow. That's a vision of the upcoming times that would make us... reuilly happy.

Domaine De Reuilly is nestled by the river Cher, in eastern Loire, France. Planted in the przed Kimmeridgian clay (same soil asBurgindy's Chablis) the grapes gives the wine a characteristically crisp mineral finish. In the late 19th century this region's grape vines were completely destroyed by the pest Phylloxera. A gentleman by the name of Camille Rousseau replanted grapes here in the knowledge of the regions future quality. Today his maternal grand son Denis Jamain continues his work and produces very fine Sauvignon for the Domaine. With the wine style incorporating the finesse of Sancerre combined with the crispness associated with Chablis. Although one could argue this could also be due to the wines being unoaked, fermented in stainless steel and malolatic conversion is completely avoided.
