Produced by Dunnet Bay Distillers, located in the spectacular bay of Dunnet where the freshest of air and the purest of water are in abundance. The distillery was established in 2014 by husband and wife team, Martin and Claire Murray, along with their trusty four-legged companion George. The gin is hand distilled in batches of 500 litres and takes its name from the Rhodiola rosea (a rose in the rocks) used in the botanicals. This and some of the other unique botanicals are foraged from the cliffs of the Pentland Firth and provide a unique taste of the highlands of Scotland. Rock Rose make 4 seasonal gins a year, the winter edition is heavy in spruce tips to give the gin a warming pine note and an earthy backbone.
