A former churchman, Charles Tanqueray began distilling in 1830 and the firm has been going strong ever since. They use the highest quality spirit and finest botanicals, picked at the peak of their freshness, for this version, which is slightly lighter than that sold in the USA and Canada. Zesty and racy, with heaps of summer fruits, it loses none of its flavour with the lower alcohol.
Tanqueray gin was initially distilled in England in 1830 by Charles Tanqueray and has since moved to Scotland since its takeover by spirits giant Diageo.
The Tanqueray has won many awards over the years including double gold in the San Francisco World Spirits Competition amongst others.
