This wine is made by former philosophy teacher Vittorio Innocenti, who lives in a medieval estate on a hilltop in rural Tuscany. He is helped by his wife Maria Rosa, a theatre historian and his two sons, one of whom intends to take over the management of the estate.


This would normally be enough to put you in a blooming huff, but you just can't be angry when they make wine that tastes like sweet cherries handed down with a loving kiss from Venus herself, on a bed of violet petals and thyme, you just can't.
