Qualia Wines was founded in 2009 when they acquired assets of Neqtar Wines, although their roots can be traced back to 1887. They pride themselves on exceeding expectation in all aspects of their business. They believe that a good winery and winemaking team should be judged not by their finest wine, but by their humblest; the wine that expresses character, generosity and authenticity. They are also one of only a few wine companies whose CEO works hands-on as a winemaker. Yarrabrook Chardonnay is made under the supervision of Liz Richardson, who has been making wine at Qualia since its beginnings.
