They begged us. “Trust our herbal, citrus soul; lead us not into new oak; and deliver us with Auxerrois”. We were called. Do you understand? A trinity of requests. What else could we do? We did what we thought was right, but only You can truly judge. And so we confess: Forgive us, Father, for we have Zind.
On the nose there are vanilla and spice aromas before it moves along to herbal and citrus aromas. The wine demonstrates a limestone minerality on both the nose and palate that is typical of wines from this vinyard. The juicy saline acidity on the palate makes this white wine the perfect match for seafood dishes.
