The Oddbins Take

Agustin thought his luck was in when he was approached by an eccentric entrepreneur and asked to produce 'as much red grape juice as he could.' The entrepreneur had 'invented' an Andean people with a view to running tours to see the ruins of their ancient civilisation. (Actually, the 'ruins' consisted of a collapsed 19th century pigsty, and some building materials left over from the construction of a swimming pool.)

To draw the crowds, the entrepreneur spiced things up a bit, claiming the extinct tribe made human sacrifices. His aim was to re-enact these rituals (employing local thespians) and for this he needed gallons of blood red liquid. As things turned out the idea was a flop. The real Andean people had a few things to say about it. Happily, however, the grape juice didn't go to waste. Made instead into wine, it really is to die for.
