Saffron Gin comes from a recipe rediscovered in the Boudier archives. Saffron Gin is the result of an alliance between Great Britain for its London Dry Gin, India for its spice used extensively in cooking and in religious ceremonies, and French know-how developed by Gabriel Boudier. This original product with exotic notes is manufactured entirely at Dijon and is used in numerous cocktails, the most famous being Saffron gin and tonic.

You may have thought Dijon was satisfied with making amazing mustard, astonishing wine and quintessential Crème de Cassis, after all, that is a substantial contribution to the world of delicious liquids/pastes. You would however, be wrong; those Dijonites…? Dijonists…? People of Dijon are far from done. Take this Gin for example, the House of Gabriel Boudier use saffron to make a bright orange gin that delivers a flavour profile of subtle spice, floral notes, backed by powerful juniper and citrus tones. No wonder Louis XI confiscated the title of Duke of Burgundy; he wanted all of Dijon’s delicious gin!
