The Oddbins Take

What's your thought on nominative determinism? You know, the idea that if your surname is Baker you're statistically more likely to end up making bread for a living or if your names Cliff you'll have a seagull on your head? A lot of Rhubarb? Well check this out, the winemaker of this fantastically priced Loire is named Pierre-Jean Sauvion and guess what grape he uses... nope not Cabernet Franc... Sauvignon Blanc! With beautiful aromatics of lime, grapefruit, elderflower and steely minerality, it's clear that there's something to this determinism malarkey.
